Barangay Terms and Conditions

By using the services provided by the Barangay under the management of BAMS Data Solutions, Inc. (“BAMS”), you agree to the following terms and conditions governing the use of your Personal Information for data gathering and future barangay projects.

  1. Consent for Data Collection: By providing your Personal Information, including but not limited to full name, address, and contact number, you consent to the barangay collecting and processing such information for the purpose of data gathering and future barangay projects.

  2. Purpose of Data Usage: The collected information, particularly through the Blotter System, will be used for reporting purposes and future data analysis to enhance community services and plan upcoming projects. Your data will be handled confidentially and will not be used for purposes other than those outlined in this agreement.

  3. Data Sharing: Information gathered, especially within the search module of the Blotter System, may be shared among authorized BAMS users, including barangay and LGU personnel. This sharing is strictly limited to improve community services and safety. No data will be shared with external entities or unauthorized individuals.

  4. Data Retention: Your Personal Information will be retained for a period as required by national laws, rules, and guidelines. BAMS has implemented security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

  5. Data Protection Officer: For any concerns related to data privacy, you can contact the DATA PROTECTION OFFICER at dataprotection@bams.com.

  6. Constituent’s Rights: As a constituent, you have the right to (a) be informed, (b) access, (c) object, (d) ensure erasure or blocking, (e) damages, (f) file a complaint, (g) rectify, and (h) data portability regarding your Personal Information.

  7. Modification of Terms: BAMS reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions as necessary. Constituents will be notified of any significant changes.

By continuing to use the barangay services and providing your Personal Information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in restrictions on accessing certain services.
